Municipalities across the Pontiac hosted Remembrance Day ceremonies this week, some on Nov. 9, others on Remembrance Day proper, to honour those who have served in this country’s military, many of whom sacrificed their lives to protect the freedom of Canadians.
THE EQUITY regrets it was unable to attend some of the Nov. 11 ceremonies as our team was tied up getting the newspaper out the door. Thank you to all who organized these opportunities for collective remembering.

Les municipalités du Pontiac ont organisé des cérémonies du Jour du Souvenir cette semaine, certaines le 9 novembre, d’autres le jour même du Souvenir, afin d’honorer ceux qui ont servi dans les forces armées de ce pays, et dont beaucoup ont sacrifié leur vie pour protéger la liberté des Canadiens.
THE EQUITY regrette de ne pas avoir pu assister à certaines des cérémonies du 11 novembre, car notre équipe était occupée à finaliser la parution du journal. Merci à toutes les personnes qui ont organisé ces occasions de souvenir collectif.
