In my column last week, I omitted a name in Elizabeth Éther’s obituary. Our heartfelt sympathy, thoughts and prayers also go out to her dearly loved son Marcel. I apologize for this error.

On Sunday, a drive by . . .

baby shower was held for Tiffany Rivet at her parents Connie and Charlie Andrews’ home. Family and friends drove by and wished Tiffany well. They dropped off lovely cards and practical baby gifts. Tiffany truly appreciated the kindness expressed to her.

Special anniversary wishes are extended to our dear Rhonda and Mark, who are celebrating their 28th anniversary on May 8. May you share many more years of God’s richest blessings.

Birthday wishes are extended to our nephew Chris Perry, of Limoges, Ont. who is celebrating a birthday on May 8. We hope it is a good one Chris.

This coming Sunday is Mother’s Day. I would like to wish every mom a happy Mother’s Day. Although we cannot physically be with our children to celebrate we are so blessed to have them in our lives. Let us lift up a silent prayer for all mothers who are no longer with us.
