The Pontiac campaign headquarters for the Peoples Party of Canada was located in Shawville in a building on Main Street owned by Robert Hodgins, pictured here with his wife Donna Andrew, PPC candidate David Bruce Gottfred and campaign worker Leann Morgan of Quyon.  “We wanted at least to build a base that we can build from, I think that’s the main goal,” Gottfred said to The Equity on Monday evening. “We’ve met a lot of people that have joined and helped, and we’ve got a lot of connections, and I think we can form a riding association and be a real political party rather than just sort of a name on a ballot.”
