Dr. Potvin awarded Medal of the National Assembly

During the annual Shawville Lions Club lobster dinner on June 4, MNA for Pontiac André Fortin awarded Dr. Earle Potvin with the Medal of the National Assembly, in recognition of over 50 years of loyal and caring services to the people of the Pontiac. Dr. Potvin retired from medicine on Jan. 15 at the age of 85 after working as a surgeon at the Shawville hospital for most of his career. “Dr. Potvin epitomizes and represents the everlasting devotion, the professionalism and the hard work of all of our healthcare professionals,” said Fortin in a Facebook post.
