A big congratulations to my cousin, Kenny Fleck and his wife Jenna who welcomed a beautiful baby girl on Sept. 6. Her name is Collins Bristol Fleck and she is a little sister for Georgia. I know her nana Patti Davis is absolutely thrilled to have another wee girl to love. Wishing Kenny and Jenna all the best with their sweet little bundle of pink.
This past Sunday, the Quyon Lionettes held their Duck Race Draw. Unfortunately because of low water levels and debris in the water they were unable to actually put the ducks in the river. However, all of the duck tickets were entered into a draw. The lucky winners were as follows: First place Ward Lance of Quyon – $1000; second place Joe Germain of Campbell’s Bay – $500; third place Francois Beaudoin of Aylmer – $250. Congratulations to the big winners and kudos to the Lionettes for holding this beloved community fundraiser.
The Lionettes are also busy planning the return of the popular Quyon Car Rally after it was cancelled last year due to COVID-19. The car rally will be held on Oct. 16 and if you’d like to book your spot you can contact Donna Provost at 819-458-2655. I am looking forward to a fun day.
