Congratulations to all of our graduates who were celebrating over the past few weeks as their school year wrapped up. It was nice to see that. . .
most schools were able to provide ceremonies and celebrations — perhaps not to the same scale as we were used to before the pandemic but still allowing the graduates to dress up and mark the occasion in a special way. Wishing all of you the best as you move on to your next endeavours.
Deepest sympathy is extended to the family of Jean Rebertz, who passed away on June 18. Our thoughts and prayers are with her loved ones at this sad time.
Birthday wishes are going out to Ray Johnston on July 1, to Daniel Dowe on July 3, to Ian Hudson on July 5 and to Alvin Johnston on July 6. Best wishes to everyone celebrating this week.
Wishing everyone a safe and happy Canada Day. Unfortunately in Quyon, our celebrations have been cancelled this year because of the pandemic restrictions but I hope you are still able to mark the occasion with your families and friends. Let’s hope we’ll be painting the town red and white once again next year.
