A person saw our poster about the stray kitten my friend has been feeding for months. They came and took her yesterday. Feeling compassion for her, they decided to give her . . .

a warm home. She has spent much of her life hiding in a cold shed coming out mostly for food, so we feel happy that she will get a better life now.

It got me thinking. God offers us a better life. He beckons us to come out of our unhappy circumstances into the warmth of His love. The kitten, which we named Saby learned to trust because my friend kept feeding her, talking to her. It enabled Saby to be transported to a new home.

God pours blessings upon us constantly, but without really trusting His goodness, we will never see change in our lives. Thankfully His persistent love toward us is far greater than all our fear and distrust. Try stepping into it.
