This year marked the 10 year anniversary for Chris Beimers, Mélanie Duchesne and little helper Jacob in organizing the Canada Day Flea Market held on July 1, in the Shawville arena. They raised and generously donated $4,672.00 this year, making a total donation of over $22,000 in 10 years. This money has been used to purchase much needed equipment for Palliative Care, Day Medicine, the Cataract Unit and towards the Dialysis Unit that will soon be opened to patients. The Foundation Board Members are very appreciative of this couple’s efforts. We wish to thank them so very much and also the public who generously donated items for this fundraiser.
