The Pontiac Terry Fox challenge is currently underway, with participants taking to their local trails and streets to log kilometres up until Sept. 30. The goal for the end of the month is for the Pontiac walkers, runners and bikers to travel as far as Terry did on his run, 5,737. Over the course of the third week, the 24 reporting participants from Pontiac travelled 1,378.1 km, up from 1,270.53 the week before. As of Monday, the overall total stood at 3,751.93 km, compared to 2373.83 the previous week.
