SHEENBORO
Sept. 16-20, 2019
This week, soldiers from the Canadian Special Operations Regiment (CSOR) will be . . .
conducting training exercises in the Sheenboro area.
A press release from the armed forces states that residents shouldn’t be alarmed by the sight of military personnel or boats in the region from Sept. 16 and 20, or by the sounds of small arms fire.
CSOR spokesperson Lt. Anne Cote said that there will be about 100 people involved in the exercise, though only 20 actually training, the rest would be acting as support.
She added that a 15 to 20 minute roadblock will be put in place Friday morning, between 6 and 8 a.m., so that the troops can move their equipment.
