CAMPBELL’S BAY

Feb. 15, 2020

On Saturday night, the Campbell’s Bay RA hall was packed for the Pontiac Lions Club’s annual murder mystery.

The club has traditionally had a . . .

fundraiser around Valentine’s Day, said President Frank Frost, who added that a handful of Lions contributed to the performance aspect of the evening, along with members of the Pontiac Community Players.

Titled “The day the Music Died”, the theatrical production flipped between flashbacks from the character’s memory and the present, and the members of the audience were tasked with figuring out a an old murder that took place in 1959.

The event is one of the club’s biggest fundraisers in the calendar and Frost said that they had sold more than 200 tickets for the show. The meal for the evening was provided by the Junction restaurant.
