The CWL of Chapeau held their annual dinner catered by Cheryl Smith on June 13. President Gail Sullivan presented 70 year pins to Rhea Vaillancourt, Jacqueline Vaillancourt, and Bea Battis. 50 year pins were given to Martha Fitzpatrick, 40 plus years to myself, 25 plus years to Brenda Lebré, Jean OBrien and Edith Lair. The 10 year pins were awarded to Laetitia Peacock of Sheenboro, Helen Davis, Chrisita Dupuis, and Monique Fleury. Janey Carroll, a member for 50 plus years, received the Maple Leaf Service pin. This is quite an accomplishment. We would also like to acknowledge Mary Lapierre who has been a member for 70 plus years.

Congratulations to Holly Dunn and Chris Blackstock who were married on Saturday at Northfork. Holly is the daughter of Michael and Colleen Dunn of Nichabau.

La Ligue catholique des femmes (LCF) de Chapeau a tenu son dîner annuel, servi par Cheryl Smith, le 13 juin. La présidente Gail Sullivan a remis des épinglettes pour 70 ans à Rhea Vaillancourt, Jacqueline Vaillancourt et Bea Battis. Des épinglettes pour 50 ans ont été remises à Martha Fitzpatrick, plus de 40 ans à moi-même, plus de 25 ans à Brenda Lebré, Jean OBrien et Edith Lair. Les épinglettes pour 10 ans ont été décernées à Laetitia Peacock de Sheenboro, Helen Davis, Chrisita Dupuis et Monique Fleury. Janey Carroll, membre depuis plus de 50 ans, a reçu l’épinglette du service Feuille d’érable. C’est une belle réalisation. Nous tenons également à saluer Mary Lapierre, membre depuis plus de 70 ans.
