With just over a week left before Christmas, Santa Claus visited one last Pontiac community over the weekend to collect the Christmas wishes from children living there before setting to work making their wishes come true. 

On his visit to Rapides-des-Joachims, he paraded through the town, joined by many other festive floats, before meeting with the children keen to get in their wishlist requests and distributing a collection of early gifts. 

The parade was organized by the Rapides-des-Joachims council and the town’s Maison des Jeunes organization, which provided the gifts for all the children thanks to donations from various local businesses and organizations.
