A festive float: The icy, wet weather didn’t stop the Santa Claus Parade in Quyon on Saturday, Dec. 11.
Vendors lined Main Street in Shawville to sell their goods on a chilly Dec. 3 evening market. People meandered through the booths and kiosks as Christmas music played in the background, creating a pleasant shopping ambiance despite the cold. Pictured is Mishka Kucharik shopping for homemade beets available from Donna Rebertz’s cache of pickles, preserves, jams and jellies.
Approximately 50 people gathered at the Otter Lake Memorial Park on Sunday to sing Christmas Carols around the tree at the fifth annual tree-lighting ceremony.
