Norway Bay ‘man cave’ destroyed in late July storm

Norway Bay ‘man cave’ destroyed in late July storm

Norway Bay resident Eric Johnson submitted two photos of the havoc wreaked on his River Road property by the violent thunderstorm that swept through the Pontiac at the end of July, which he affectionately refers to as “Tony the Tornado.” He said a 110-foot tree “sliced” through the cottage at that address (below), which many may know as the home of the life-sized fiberglass horse, and also destroyed the “infamous and mysterious Denise and Eric Johnson MANCAVE,” (above) which he said was known to many generations for music, laughter and fun. While no one was hurt, the treasures stored in the man cave were endangered, including a jukebox, a pinball machine, and a 1966 Cadillac convertible.
