LUSKVILLE July 23, 2018
Last Monday afternoon, a multi-vehicle collision near the intersection of Hwy. 148 and chemin Terry Fox in Luskville sent four people to the hospital.
At about 3:55 p.m. on July 23, a vehicle struck a transport truck head-on, near 1491 Hwy. 148. A third vehicle was also involved in the collision and some of the five occupants of the vehicles had to be extricated.
Four people were transported to the Hull Hospital, though none of their injuries were considered life-threatening. The highway was closed temporarily.
Police continue to investigate the cause of the collision, but speed and alcohol do not appear to be a factor.
