McDowell speech winners bring awareness

Photo Submitted Dr. S.E. McDowell Elementary School speeches were held on Dec. 4. Students, teachers, judges and proud parents filled the gym as eight students showed just how well they can handle the spotlight. Lucas Barre whose topic was Bryan Murray came in 1st place, Marissa Lang who chose Homeless People to do her speech on came in 2nd and Cade Kuehl, who placed 3rd, informed us all on the importance of Do It For Darren and mental health awarness.
