Fern Connolly and Katherine Morris from Animal Aide Pontiac made a presentation to Mme. Kari’s grade 3 and 4 classes at Dr. S.E. McDowell Elementary School on Friday, as well as accepting a check from the youngsters for $150. The class held a cupcake sale (baked at the school) on Feb. 25 that raised enough money for them to donate $250 to the local SPCA as well as the donation to Animal Aide. Connolly and Morris raffled off two t-shirts and a gift card to Rumours Café in Otter Lake.
