The Chutes Coulonge Adventure Park in Mansfield et Pontefract opened their season this past weekend complete with some Easter festivities.

The park’s social media manager and administrative assistant Katrina Saroka explained that . . .

children attending the park could search for eggs and more as they made their way around.

“We have a one way Easter egg hunt along our path, it brings you all along the waterfront trail,” she said. “The kids have a list of things they pick up and at the end they pick up their little goodie bag, and they get entered into a raffle for some chocolate.”

In addition there were plenty of snacks and crafts available as well. Saroka explained that they had opened up the high ropes and zip-lining course by reservation only and had a packed first weekend of the season.

“With the beautiful weather we’ve been having we were able to open early this year,” she said. “Our low ropes are open as well. We’re only opening for the weekends now to maintain the numbers. Yesterday we had a huge day and we have reservations well into July. We’re getting packed, people want to get outside.”
