An outdoor wood furnace at a property on Stoney Batter Road in Starks Corners caught fire last Wednesday evening at around 8:15 p.m. Shawville Clarendon. Fire Chief Lee Laframboise said that four trucks and 12 firefighters responded to the blaze, which was extinguished in about an hour.
