Get your cash and non-perishable items ready, because Bouffe Pontiac is holding their annual . . .

food drive on Thursday, Dec. 5, and they need your help.

Volunteers will be posted at high-traffic intersections throughout the region: the corners of rue Centre and rue Main, as well as rue Main and rue Clarendon in Shawville from 6:30 a.m. to 9 a.m.; the intersection of Hwy. 148 and Rte. 301 Nord in Campbell’s Bay from 6 a.m. to 9 a.m.; and the intersection of Hwy. 148 and chemin Pembroke in Allumettes Island from 6 a.m. to 9 a.m.

According to Bouffe Pontiac President Kim Laroche, the generosity of the region allows them to distribute 200 Christmas baskets each year to local households in need.
