April 27, 2021

Police responded to an accident involving a dirt bike on Ile du Grand Calumet on April 27 that sent one man to the hospital.

At about 7 p.m., first responders were called to Chemin Dunraven for an accident involving a motocross bike. The driver, a 44-year old man, was taken to hospital with serious but non-life threatening injuries. He was driving while prohibited by the Criminal code and a blood sample was taken. According to a statement released by police, he could face charges of driving while impaired and driving while prohibited.
