Dozens of seniors and youngsters alike gathered at the Jack Graham Community Centre on Sunday afternoon to celebrate the annual Bristol Winter Carnival.

A coordinated effort between the Bristol Community Association (BCA) and the municipal council, the afternoon saw plenty thrill-seekers of all ages take to the snow for some fun.

BCA President Elaine Findlay was leading the charge down the sledding hill, and many of the youngsters opted for snow painting. After some prompting from Findlay and Bristol councillor Debbie Kilgour, the children were lining up for their turn on the toboggan.

Inside there was euchre, canasta and bridge for the less adventurous folks, with a large ham and potato supper that evening.

Findlay added that the desserts for the supper were all donated by community members.
