Deklan Albert Octave Bertrand – What can I say about this beautiful baby boy other than look at the smile. From the moment he opened his eyes and came to this world, he’s been wearing that precious grin. It was a rough 36 weeks with the condition I was dealt, lots of ups and downs, but we kept our heads held high. Many dreadful trips to the city for what seemed like an endless stream of appointments which for us as the parents, we were very grateful for the doctor’s advice. All we wanted was a healthy, happy baby boy, and on August 15, 2021 at 1:34 a.m., our prayers were finally answered. It was an experience like no other we’ve ever been through, but all worth every second when we saw that smile for the first time. Seeing him grow day in and day out brings us so much joy and seeing that smile is the most precious gift we could have ever asked for. Deklan, we love you more than words can ever describe.
