Ottawa Feb. 9, 2022
The Grand Opening of the West Carleton Snowmobile Trails Association (WCSTA) bridge across the Ottawa River to Quebec will occur on Saturday, Feb. 12 at 11 a.m. at the bridge over the Ottawa River.
This project has been completed with the support . . .
and sponsorship of the “Investing in Canada Infrastructure Program, Community, Culture and Recreation Stream” and other organizations that provided their generous support to WCSTA.
The bridge is accessible by car and parking is available at the end of Loggers Way in Vydon Acres (Ottawa). The municipal address where you can park on the cul-de-sac and street is 5843 Loggers Way, Ottawa. It is a five minute walk to the bridge. We have permission from the landowner to walk down their driveway to a path on the right that will put you on the snowmobile trail near the bridge (200 feet). A map of the location is attached.
You can also snowmobile to the event by taking the WCSTA W1 trail to the bridge. Check the OFSC ITG for directions https://ofsc.evtrails.com/#
We are excited to see the bridge and the connecting trails that have been built by the Pontiac Snowmobile Drivers Association on the Quebec side and WCSTA in Ontario. We look forward to seeing you. If you require any further information please call one of the numbers below.
