Our heartfelt sympathy, thoughts and prayers are with the McKinnon family of Chapeau, Que. in the recent passing of James (Jim) McKinnon. Jim loved to socialize and would often be seen at the Waltham Station Restaurant.

always had a smile on her face and will be sadly missed by her loving family and friends. May you rest in peace Judy.

We were saddened to hear of the passing of Diane (nee Davidson), of Pembroke, Ont. She was the beloved wife of the late Stephen Ethier. Diane was a quiet person and always had a smile on her face. Our heartfelt sympathy, thoughts and prayers are with her son Curtis, family and friends.

Birthday wishes are extended to our nephew David Perry, Ita Perry and Tina Joliecoeur Pilon, who are celebrating their birthdays on Dec. 24. Enjoy your special day, and we hope that Santa is good to all of you.

The R.A. would like to thank all of those who participated in lighting up our town this year. Congratulations are extended to the winners. First place went to Tina and Jason Pilon (a $200 gift certificate to the Waltham Station second place went to Lisette and Brian Carroll ($100.00 gift certificate to Jennifer Daly Day Spa) and third place went to Lysanne and Ted Béchamp ($50.00 gift certificate to the Waltham Station). Runners up were Sally and Paul Romain. Each gift certificate winner will also receive a beautiful sign generously donated by Emma Romain. It is so nice to drive around town in the evening and see all the beautiful decorations. Well done Waltham, we are proud of our little town.

Well here we are, another Christmas and a New Year are fast approaching. Christmas and New Years will be different this year due to COVID-19 but we will make the best of it. From our house to your house, we would like to take this opportunity to wish you a blessed, Merry Christmas filled with love, peace and joy. May 2021 be a prosperous New Year filled with a lot of hope for the end of the pandemic. Wishing you health, happiness and the warmth of family and friends.
