I sure hope that everyone had a lovely Thanksgiving with their family and friends. Mike, Jodi, Alex, Mikaela and Ben were here and we enjoyed a lovely turkey dinner with all the trimmings.

We were saddened to hear of the passing of Laurence “Betty” Harkins”of Chapeau. She was the beloved wife of the late Claude Harkins. Betty and Claude had raised their family here in Waltham. Betty was a lovely lady, always ready for a chat. Our heartfelt sympathy, thoughts and prayers are with her family and friends at this difficult time.

Our heartfelt sympathy, thoughts and prayers are with Donna (Belland) Sullivan, of Chapeau, and family and friends, in the recent passing of her dearly love husband Edward “Ned” Sullivan. Ned always called the lodge his “little piece of heaven” and it was there that he found comfort, joy and peace in his final days.

Warm anniversary wishes are extended to Theresa and Barry Harkins, who are celebrating their anniversary on Oct. 19. May you be blessed with many more.
