Police are asking for the public’s help in identifying two suspects in a break and enter that took place in Chapeau last month.
At around 2:30 p.m. on June 10, a 68-year-old woman was awoken by two men inside her residence on rue Saint Jacques. The intruders, both described as slim, fled with a phone, jewelry and medication. According to police, the victim was not harmed.
One of the suspects was wearing a white and brown bandana with a red sweater. The other was wearing a gray sweater with “kangaroo” style pockets and the pair fled in a black sedan.
Anyone with information can call to Sûreté du Québec Criminal Information Centre at 1 800 659 4264.
