Last Thursday, the MRC Pontiac issued a notice that voting in TNO elections will be different this year.

The notice explained that the Nov. 7 election’s voting process will allow for residents of the TNO to vote by mail if they make a request between Oct. 17 and Oct 27.

Residents may vote by mail if:

  • They are 70 or older on election day
  • They are unable to leave their home due to health reasons or due to their work as a caregiver
  • They reside in an eligible care facility
  • They are self-isolating for reasons or restrictions related to COVID-19

Residents may request to vote by mail by contacting President of Elections Bernard Roy.
