Though the Pontiac Terry Fox run wrapped up last week, participants were still logging their kilometres until Sept. 30, for a total of 40 days to mark the Marathon of Hope’s 40th anniversary. The group started off with a goal of 5,737 km, the same amount that Terry completed, but blew by that total by a wide margin. After everything had been tallied, the group traveled a total of 8,254.3 km, and raised $6,885 for cancer research.
