The Pontiac Terry Fox challenge is currently underway, with participants taking to their local trails and streets to log kilometres up until Sept. 30. The goal for the end of the month is for the Pontiac walkers, runners and bikers to travel as far as Terry did on his run, 5,737. Over the course of the fourth week, the reporting participants from Pontiac recorded a whopping 2,157.16 km, way up from 1,378.1 the week before, meaning they’ve surpassed their goal and now stand at 5,900.14 km.
