Sharing their love for nature and animals Robert Laurin and Victoria Mestres-Laurin invited neighbours, friends and community members to a Thanksgiving open house. The events purpose was to celebrate young artists and talk about farm life. The event took place at their farm Infinity Farms which overlooks Gatineau Park, near Chemin Cregheur.
It was also an opportunity to give children and parents . . .
a chance to learn about egg and chicken production, sheep and wool, and the steps required to create clothing and household-handmade products. The couple also rescues animals when they can such as their horse Spark, and their newest member Élénoire the pig.
“There is a lot of local talent in Luskville, of all ages, we love promoting their talent. It is great to see the youth flourish,” said Victoria.
Victoria hopes this will become a yearly event, giving the opportunity to feature more young local artists to be discovered by the community.
