On Saturday, Le Patro held an afternoon Easter egg hunt.
Parked cars lined Le Patro’s driveway as dozens of families searched for eggs in Le Patro’s front field.
A nearby tent served . . .
pancakes and breakfast sausages to guests.
“We like to have people come out and do activities,” said Suzanne Dazé, the event’s organizer, as she tossed a pancake from the flat top onto a paper plate.
“We figured that we can’t go wrong with this.”
Participants received a word at the entrance and had to search for the letters in the field. At the end, participants spun a prize wheel.
Egg and carrot-shaped cutouts and other hand-painted decorations were scattered throughout the field. “We had to buy a lot of eggs and do a little bit of decoration,” said Dazé.
“Volunteers came in to paint our little eggs and carrots in the field.”
Meagan Soucie learned about the event through Facebook and decided that it would be a great way to celebrate the weekend.
“We’re actually surprised there were this many activities going on,” she said. “They loved it.”
