As I write this column I am looking out the window at the first big snowfall of the season. It is so beautiful. As many of you know, I am a snow lover, so this makes my heart happy. I can’t wait to get out the snowshoes. Bring on the winter.

We have birthday wishes going out to Bob Young on Nov. 25, to Karen Stanley on Nov. 27, to Bonnie Fraser-Dowe on Nov. 28, to Chris Dowe on Nov. 29 and to Presley Thomson on Nov. 30. Best wishes to everyone celebrating this week.
