If your vegetable garden doesn’t pan out quite as planned, you need a last-minute bouquet of flowers or you’re sick of paying too much for eggs at the grocery store, Pontiac farmers have you covered. Stop by any of the below farmers’ markets or farm stores to fill your baskets with seasonal goodies.

Marché Bristol Market

Where: Coronation Hall, 206 ch. River, Bristol

When: 9 a.m.- 1 p.m., May 16 – Oct. 10

The Bristol Market is moving from Norway Bay to Coronation Hall this year, but will still host two special market days back at the Norway Bay beach: A Fire Department Fundraiser on Canada Day, and a Kid’s Day on Aug. 1. 

Pontiac Farmers’ Market

Where: R&R Farms, 776 7th Line W., Clarendon

When: 8:30 a.m. – 12:30 p.m., May 9 – Oct. 10

The only farmers’ market in the region hosted at a working viable farm with livestock, greenhouses, and fields aplenty! Vendors sell fruits, vegetables, perennials, annuals, cut flowers, baked goods, grab-and-go prepared foods, jams, jellies, pickles, preserves, handicrafts, and more depending on the time of the season.

When: Thursdays, Fridays and Saturdays

The Chapeau Farmers’ Market is open Thursdays and Fridays from 2 p.m. – 6 p.m., and Saturdays from 11 a.m. – 3 p.m. From fresh produce and homemade preserves to handcrafted pottery, baked goods, and artisan textiles, our vendors offer a wide variety of products that reflect the richness and creativity of the upper Pontiac community.

Thorne Farmers’ Market

Where: 777 rte. 366, Thorne (Ladysmith)

When: 9 a.m. – 2 p.m., June 20 – Sept. 26

New this year! Support local farmers, growers, bakers, artisans, and small businesses while enjoying the atmosphere of our existing flea market. Shop fresh produce, homemade goods, plants, baked treats, handcrafted items, and more — all in one convenient community location. Vendor spaces are available for just $20 per space.

Ferme des Petites Victoires

Where: 1766 rte. 148, Luskville 

When: 10 a.m. – 4 p.m. Fridays and Saturdays 

Farmers Alix and Doug sell their organic veggies and flowers along with other local goods at their farm store on Fridays and Saturdays. The store opens May 15. The farm also offers a bi-weekly vegetable CSA subscription.
