The Pontiac Farmers’ Market opened the season under sunny skies on May 13, just in time for Mother’s Day shoppers and cottagers returning for the summer. Host Ron Hodgins once again dazzled with his array of annual flowers and there was a constant parade of happy gardeners heading to and fro. On hand were several other vendors offering everything from fresh onions, to pies, jams, hand-made soap and lobster-trap-floats-turned-yard-decor. The market runs each Saturday from 8:30 – 12:30 p.m. until Thanksgiving and is located at R&R Farms just off Highway 148 at 7 Concession, Clarendon.
