Police seek help identifying Shawville truck theft suspects

The Sûreté du Québec police provided these two photos to help the public identify the people who stole the truck.

The Sûreté du Québec (SQ) police is asking for public assistance in identifying three people who were involved in a vehicle theft in Shawville.

According to a press release from the SQ, on July 18, around 5:30 a.m., three suspects arrived at a Shawville business on Highway 148 in a black Toyota Camry.

Two suspects exited the car and stole a white 2021 Ford F-250 Lariat while the third suspect drove away in the Camry.

The suspects who stole the truck are described as two men in their twenties, both wearing hooded sweatshirts, one of which was Nike brand.

Anyone with information is asked to contact the Sûreté du Québec’s Criminal Information Center at 1-800-659-4264.
