Members and friends gathered at the Royal Eniskillen Loyal Orange Lodge 27 in Shawville last Thursday night for the group’s annual pancake supper.
Lodge Worshipful Master Allison Corrigan explained that the supper is one of the Lodge’s main fundraisers throughout the year and the proceeds will be used for upkeep of the hall.
“Last year we had one of the largest crowds,” he said, noting that approximately 130 people attended in 2018. “We expect more [this year.]”
The supper has been a tradition of the group for nearly three decades. Corrigan said that they used to have it earlier in the year, but more recently decided to move it to April.
The food is all donated or prepared by both members and non-members.
