New sign for historic church

On Aug. 20, members of the Artistes de la rivière installed a sign outside the Little Stone Church in Portage du Fort, which detailed the building’s extensive history. Local archivist Venetia Crawford said that she believes the structure is the oldest church in the Pontiac, having been built in the mid-1800s.
