ESTHER COLPITTS
A friend was preparing minutes for a Zoom meeting and when she sent out the emails, one of the addresses was incorrect. Trying to fix that error became . . . .
difficult because the computer remembered the old address and wouldn’t let her put the correct one in. She finally found a way to overrule the computer’s memory and sent the minutes. It got me thinking.
When we, as family members, friends, neighbours and even acquaintances choose to remember being wronged, which is very natural, usually there will be harm done to that relationship. Not only that, we will carry inside a hindrance to our own wellbeing.
God calls us to forgive even when we cannot forget. He will also give us the power to do so. Then praying for that other person will help us to replace ugly memories and we will be set free.
