A Mansfield man has been handed a three-year prison sentence after being convicted for numerous sex crimes against minors.

Lynn Bertrand, 67, admitted responsibility for . . .

13 crimes against five different minors and was sentenced on June 8 at the Campbell’s Bay courthouse.

The crimes occurred between 1994 and 2009, with seven of the 13 counts being for touching a minor while the other six were inviting, engaging or inciting a child to touch the accused. All of the crimes took place in the Pontiac.

While 11 of the counts of sexual crimes were against minors under the age of 14, two of them were against a minor under the age of 16.

According to court documents, some of the victims were at least under the age of ten at the time of the crime.

The victims all came forward in August 2018.

Bertrand will also be registered as a sex offender for life.
