On Oct. 16-19, a yoga and wellness retreat was held at the Spruceholme Inn in Fort Coulonge.
Around 22 women attended the event, which was organized by local yoga instructor Muriel Davies.

Davies explained in an email that the event featured two yoga classes per day as well as four different guest speakers over the course of the retreat.
On opening night, the speaker was psychic and angel consultant Lilly White, whose speech received mixed reactions. White’s talk was sponsored by the Women’s Wellness Network and was open to the general public, attracting a crowd of about 50.
She spoke about the difference between fate and destiny as well as the four “survival energies” that women embody.
