A fashion show and ladies’ night took over the Campbell’s Bay R.A. Hall on Friday night, with more than 200 women in attendance. All of the models for the evening had some sort of connection to St. Joseph’s Manor, either as staff or through a relative. Pictured, Colleen Lariviere shows off some swanky threads.
Members of the Campbell’s Bay Litchfield Fire Department were in charge of the bar for the evening, raising money to purchase a new Jaws of Life. From left: Alain Dubeau, Pat Shea and Lincoln Smith.

The R.A. Hall in Campbell’s Bay was packed on Friday night as a couple hundred ladies turned up to support a local institution.
The first ever fashion show and ladies’ night in support of Friends of St. Joseph’s Manor was a success by all accounts, with more than 200 people in attendance and over $5,000 raised for the non-profit senior’s home.

Organizer Charleen Moore explained that the funds would be targeting a specific project.
“This is for the new expansion project, we’re adding on ten rooms,” she said. “All the money we raise tonight will go towards that.”
She added that the Campbell’s Bay Litchfield Fire Department were operating the bar for the evening, and would be putting the proceeds towards a new Jaws of Life.
“The firefighters are actually fundraising too, in town, so I asked them to do the bar and any proceeds the bar makes, goes to them,” Moore said. “So tonight, people are kind of supporting two fundraisers at the same time.”
In addition to the food and drink, attendees could peruse a variety of vendors lining the periphery of the hall.
The main event was the fashion show however, which featured outfits and accessories sourced exclusively from local shops. Moore explained that each of the models had a connection to the Manor, either as staff or through a relative residing there.
