Dr. S.E. McDowell doles out track awards

The gymnasium at Dr. S.E. McDowell Elementary School in Shawville was packed on Thursday afternoon for an awards ceremony for the winners of the school’s track and field competition, held over the previous two days.

Phys ed. teacher Bryn Jones called up the children for their respective categories to get some time on the podium that was set up in front of their cheering peers and parents.
