COVID-19 testing is now available to all residents of the Pontiac, as CISSSO put out a press release on July 2 letting people know that screening is accessible by appointment.

Testing appointments can be made by contacting the line 1-877-644-4545, and testing will be available at the Pontiac Community Hospital.

In other related announcements, the wearing of masks on public transit will be mandatory to all riders over the age of 12 as of July 13, as announced on June 30 by the provincial government.

As of Monday afternoon, the Outaouais has 82 active cases (606 total, with 491 recovered) and three hospitalizations, although none of them were in intensive care. The Municipality of Pontiac continues to be listed as having five or less cases, while the MRC Pontiac total remains at zero.
