The economy continues to inch closer to being fully re-opened, as the Quebec government allowed . . .

for bars, spas, casinos and water parks to re-open on June 26, provided that people follow social distancing and proper sanitation guidelines. The government also announced that people can resume physical activities, except for combat sports.

CISSSO announced on Monday that people can now visit patients at hospitals provided that they follow strict guidelines. Those guidelines include a COVID-related questionnaire, physical distancing, hand-washing and the recommendation of wearing a mask. Children under the age of 14 will not be permitted as a visitor.

As of Monday afternoon, the Outaouais has 66 active cases (586 total, with 487 recovered) and three hospitalizations. The Municipality of Pontiac continues to be listed as having five or less cases, while the MRC Pontiac still has zero.
