Last week, the Quebec government announced a lottery to incentivize vaccine hold outs. Four draws for the single dose lottery will be held throughout August and are open to anyone that has received a single dose prior to August 1. The top prize is $200,000. A single draw for those that have been double vaccinated will be held in September. The top prize is $1,000,000. Further information can be found by searching for Being Vaccinated, It’s a Win contest on the health Quebec website.

In a July 22 CISSSO press release, the health authority stated residents of Quebec that received their first dose outside the province must make an appointment at clicsanté in order to be registered in Quebec’s vaccine registry and receive a vaccine passport.

The mobile clinic will continue to come through the Pontiac in the coming weeks. On August 2, it will be in Isle aux Allumettes from 10 a.m. to 5 p.m. On August 12, it will be in Fort Coulonge from 10 a.m. to 3 p.m. and on August 17, it will make its way to Otter Lake between 10 a.m. and 4:30 p.m.

Regional active figures continue to trend downwards, as the Outaouais had 10 active cases (12,589 total, 12,364 recovered) as of July 26, 2021, down 10 from July 19. There were zero hospitalizations at the designated COVID-19 centre in Hull, including zero people in intensive care. The regional death toll did not rise from last Monday, and stood at 215 as of July 26.

Within the RLS Pontiac, the CISSSO listed the following cumulative numbers on July 26*:
