Bristol man arrested after police find cocaine

BRISTOL Dec. 4, 2020

A 43 year-old Bristol man was arrested and released on Dec. 4 following a search for narcotics in a home on Bristol Mines Road.

Police from the MRC Pontiac Sûreté du Québec received . . .

a tip from the public and an investigation followed. Officer searched the home and found 50 grams of cocaine, a bladed weapon, cash and a phone.

The suspect will appear in the Campbell’s Bay courthouse at a later date where he could face charges of drug trafficking and breach of probation. SQ spokesperson Marc Tessier said he was known to police and was previously held on similar charges.

The SQ would like to remind the public that information relating to the trafficking or production of narcotics can be confidentially reported to the Central Criminal Information Center at 1-800-659-4264.
