SHAWVILLE May 17, 2018
On May 17, the Corriveau School of Dance put on a performance for a packed house in the gymnasium at Dr. S.E. McDowell Elementary School in Shawville.
Entitled “Be our Guest” the show opened and closed with scenes from the iconic tale Beauty and the Beast.
During the first half of the show, there was a brief memorial ceremony for the families that had lost children.

Dozens of dancers took part in all kinds of numbers, from jazz and tap to hip hop. The costumes changed as rapidly as the styles of dance that were performed, and the audience members made their excitement known with plenty of cheering.
The show was one of two that the school put on to showcase the talents of its students, with the other being held in Fort Coulonge on May 24 and 25.
