The Pontiac MRC has made a call for e-commerce businesses and specialists to . . .

submit proposals with the hopes of enhancing the agricultural sector in the Pontiac region.

The project is called the Pontiac Regional Agricultural Market, and it is a result of the funding received by the Regional Radiation Support Fund.

While the window to submit presentations officially opened on June 12 and ended on June 22, interested e-commerce businesses can still send their comprehensive proposals to the MRC, according to economic development officer Chakib Ahmimed.

The project’s purpose is to accommodate the growing need the regional agricultural market has for online promotion and sales.

Those who are interested and who specialize in e-commerce website development should contact Ahmimed at c.ahmimed@mrcpontiac.qc.ca for more information.
